Isibella Turns One!

The birthday Cake
(this is the only one that turned out...the rest fell to pieces or were attacked by a million ants despite being covered. but one sole cake survived. )

The plastic foods were an instant hit! Way to go Nikki and Eric!
Note she is sporting a headband...the trick is keeping them on her head...

Elmo. she was so happy with elmo. Momma, Nana and AuntSuzet/Uncle Brent/Shawna/ Amy...the clothes are absolutely adorable. and they all fit. :)

She got lots of books...and loves them. Isibella never sits still...and she sat ever so still to read the books with daddy.

Amy the baby animals book is by far her favorite!

The Infamous Birthday Cake...bum bum bum...(no blue icing)

Isibella All clean and excited...

Not quite for sure about it...but it felt slimy

Not eating the cake...just flinging it all over the dining room. and yet still clean herself
Daddy decided that she was not getting dirty enough...so he helped her out...
What was left at the end of the day!
Happy Birthday My Wonderful Daughter! I can not believe that it has been a year since I first held you in my arms.
You are so beautiful.
I love you!

The Hights They Reach

isibella has recently discovered the power of music. I guess she has quite a bit of my musical talent...she sounds better than me actually. i hope you enjoy her pictures

She plays standing... while sitting

..she even plays the piano in a dress

Her next favorite past time is Cooking!

...did i say cooking? haha she helps. i open the door and she quickly reaches for the mustard and sucks away.

i am not for sure who she gets that from, it must be a holbert thing.

Yesterday, i am vacuming and in an instant she has opened my kitchen cupboards and is sitting in a 9"x9"cake pan. She will be come a great chef I just know it by her...creativity and expeditious behavior. She gets this I know from her aunt amy.

Walks are always a relaxing time. Unless big chow dogs bark along the way.

She is so very happy in her big blue stroller. It is perfect for the un-improved roads behind our house. isnt the creek beautiful. I swear that someone could walk out of the woods from the civil war. it is so pretty behind our house.

Lastly...(for now) isibella has aspired to become the next great put-put golfer of the east

...although dad always wins.

Isibella keeps herself...and us very happy and busy.
What can i say? she is just pretty much amazing!
Much Love to you all!

Boo Eats a doughnut :)

daddy gave boo a powdered doughnut...ah fun times! it is the little things in life that make it so wonderful!

HAPPY EASTER!

Christ is Risen!

Isibella had her very first Easter this year. The day could not have been more beautiful. the sun was shining and everything was perfectly green from the great amount of rain we have had.

Mimi sent boo a gorgeous first Easter dress. haha she looked adorable in it! although being the ham that she is...I could not get her to hold still for a very good picture.

As for us, we have been loving my 13 days of "Temporary Duty (TDY)" which was for "house hunting" we were able to unpack our house and get mostly settled in. We are loving our home! here are a few pics of the inside...the clean rooms that is :)

Isibella's bedroom our bathroom...i love it :)

I will continue to post pics as i get rooms cleaned!

We spent an afternoon in savanna GA at the ocean...but we have a thing for bringing the rain...

Isn't she adorable?! she loved playing in the sand!

A New Beginning...

We are off! Isibella is such a traveled baby. dave behind the wheel of the moving van and i driving the car with nanna and isibella packed in the back we drove through Oklahoma to Arkansas. The wind was so strong we had to stop for the night. isibella had such a blast crawling all over the beds at the hotel in little rock.

The drive through Mississippi and Alabama was gorgeous. Everything is so green and blooming!

Soon the sun fell and everything grew dark. the drive was less interesting and the book on tape became more interesting. It was nearly 11pm when we drove up the driveway at my friends house.

Ginger and I jumped into the car and quickly drove to Fort Gordon so I could sign in while it was still the 24th of March.

nanna is such a huge blessing! isibella has had so much fun playing with her! she has been so very happy and we have had so much fun spending special time with nanna!

We had been fervently praying that a home would be avail. for us by Tues or Wednesday. and God answered our prayers!

we sign a lease tomorrow for this beautiful 3br 2bath home in Grovetown. just 3min from post. it sits on 5 acres of woods. dimply perfect for us! God is Good! the funny thing is the front yard contains a historical landmark. the old remains of a graveyard. apparently, our leg-less neighbor loves to scare people off by talking about the graveyard.

see the stones? none of them are marked...but the ground sinks in front of the stones suggesting the the coffins have broken through from age.

Ginger and Richard have been so generous to share their home with us while we get moved in. :)

I hope that i can post pics of our home soon...before and after us moving in :)
we love and miss you all!
Thank-you so much for your prayers!
God is Good!
